APPS FOR HEALTHIER HABITS

Google Play and App Store are offering more than 2 million apps to their users. We are are using them to get organized or just to vaste our time. Apps, that we are about to present to you, were developed through the collaboration with teams of medical experts and their main purpose is to help us make our habits healthier, our brains more focused and our work more productive.

F.lux is reducing colours and brightness on our monitors based on the time of a day. For example, when we are approaching our sleeping time, F.lux will gradually decrease the blue light on our displays; this will calm our brain down and make us go to sleep faster.

Over usage of monitors affects out eyes in bad way. Eyeleo is an app that will remind us when it is a time to take a break. With sound alert or by blocking our device Eyeleo will force us to get up and rest our eyes.

It is proven that posture doesn’t just affect your back and neck. It also can affect areas like mood, digestion and general breathing and circulation. So Posture Man Pat uses your webcam to monitor you head height. If you slouch, the app holds you accountable with an audio alert, dimming your screen or both.

By opening the new tab in our browser to check e-mail, facebook or latest news we are shifting our focus from work that needs to be done. Cold Turkey will block unwanted sites and help you be more productive.
